This is just great, Nancy. I have experienced the trepidation on the trips over the bridge and back. The thought of that passage has often stopped me from getting to the good stuff, even though I am always rewarded on the other side. This piece shows me another approach. I am looking forward to following your lead.

What a lovely piece, Nancy - I can apply it to many other things. I bicycled over the GWB once - forgot about the twisty-turny parts! I just love anything to do with the Hudson River.

I've only ever walked across that bridge and on some of those paths. It was nice to hear it from the rider's perspective! I don't know why, but it still surprises me that we all basically feel the same a little scared, a little hopeful... Thank you for sharing.

WHAT AN EXCELLENT SWEET STORY. ONE OF THE BEST PIECES YOU HAVE WRITTEN. HIGHLY PERSONAL AND AN INSTRUCTIVE TALE FOR ALL. YOU SHOW US THAT JOY AND ACCEPTANCE CAN BE FORGED IN THE POWER OF ATTENTION, TURNING FEAR AND RESISTANCE INTO PEACEFUL REWARD AND SATISFACTION.

You are an example of courage and peace. You embody the principle that we are able,if we are willing, to practice peace, wherever we go. thanks for the very simple , yet very strong message.
